KNOXVILLE, Tenn., March 15, 2018 — 4M Carbon Fiber Corp. (4M) announced today the appointment of Dr. Truman Bonds, co-inventor of atmospheric plasma oxidation for the production of carbon fiber, as the Company’s Chief Technology Officer (CTO). 4M recently announced a strategic pivot to manufacture low-cost carbon fiber using plasma oxidation and initiated oven design in 2017 while also starting fiber qualification activities. Dr. Bonds has been serving as director of 4M since April 4, 2017.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn., March 1, 2018 — 4M Carbon Fiber Corp. (4M) announced today that a new patent for the Company’s method of plasma oxidation for polymeric materials was issued by the Japan Patent Office on January 10, 2018. The patent covers 4M’s use of the plasma oxidation process in that country. This further strengthens the protection and exclusivity 4M has on this technology around the world. 4M already has four issued patents in the United States and has multiple additional U.S. and worldwide patent applications still in process.
